Woke up 6.30am. Get ready my blazer. I'm off to hitch a bus ride to Changi Airport to sent my dear brother Yunjian off to perth. A future pilot to be. Had a wonderful breakfast with his mom, future mom and girlfriend. Haha. A good quality time spent, got to know his momS and I are actually all "Hakka kis" (Same Dialet group) Cheers! A true moment of truth shared from his mom when I had a little talk with her. " I'm happy for my son but abit sad 'la..' because he is staying so far..." I guessed in her heart, she wants to say "...so far from me". A mother's heart. A heart of love for her child. No problem bro, I believed that big sister PF may have learned from your mom to cook all the wonderful dishes just for you when you get back. Cheers =)

A night of battle!

Let me tell you an anecdote of 3 big men and me on a monday night. They were doing some '4 spring' cleaning in a old shabby shed. Why "4 Spring"? Because it took them 4 years before they start tidying up that old, stinky shed! The smell was unique'ly overwhelmed man! The foul odour conjures of roaches, 1 big rat, rat leftover foods, birds and rat "poo poo" and gosh.. it's better to close down the shed, let it rot. Why bothered to clean only after 4 years!

Well, it's also through this tidying up time that I find out the 3 big men were afraid of roaches and their "ka kis" Haha!

Well, seems like I'm the only one who was not afraid. Not a tiny bit. Battling all the way, drawing out my sword *Broom* and *chin chiang chang chin*!

I'm the man. Cheers.

I'm a Child of the Most High! (1)

In NKJV John 1, "12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."



Many times a day, I would think of this verse. Pondering over why God will say "...He gave the right to become children of God"? He could have said "But as many as received Him, they are children of God." Why then? So we still get to choose not to become Children of God after we have received Him? In KJV, it's written "...to them gave he power to become sons of God" Power (ἐξουσία exousia) refers to authority, right, privilege.



In the good old days, relationship with God was broken because of sin. Well, thanks to our first man whos name was Adam for being "dumb". His very beautiful wife Eve ( If she's not beautiful, who else?) had an 'interesting' dialog session with the serpent. Just imagine "Ah-dumb" was sitting beside listening to his wife talking to the serpent and serpent talking back to his wife and to the serpent and to the wife again and "Ah-dumb" was being dumb! He was keeping quiet all along! Apple was eaten, sin came in and a perfect relationship with God was broken.

By one man mistake, sin came in and death approaches but by one 'man' love, sin was taken and life is saved. Because of this One Man and God, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins on the cross and died so we may live. Who was striped so we may get healed. Who was crowned with crown of thorns so we may be crowned with crown of Glory. Who was clothe with unrighteousness so we may be clothe with Righteousness. Who called on God on the cross so we may call God our Father.

It is because All authority, power and might has been given to Jesus because of what He has done for us that we who believed and received Him as our Lord are given the authority, right and privilege to become the Children of God.

If I asked for the wisdom of men, I get wisdom from men.
If I asked for the wisdom of God, I get wisdom from God.
If I asked for an answer from men, I get answers.
If I asked for an answer from God, I get an answer from God.

Why will I get wisdom from men when I should get from the One who gives wisdom?
Why will I choose to get many different answers from men when I can received one perfect answer from God?

If I seek comfort from men, I'll received temporal comfort
If I seek comfort from God, I'll received eternal comfort
If I seek the face of men, I can't see what lies behind him
If I seek the face of God, I can see what He has already done

Comparing a temporal and eternal which will I choose? If I seek the face of men, many schemes or thoughts I do not know but I seek the face of Him and I know what He has done for me long ago. Why should I do do and do when everything was done done and done.

Perhaps, the most wonderful thing in life is when you have a hope. A hope that you can cling on or focus on. I've been savoring the goodness of the Lord ever since His truth sank in deep my heart. I'm beginning to learn more and more new things, good things of course.

Embrace Wisdom like embracing a woman.

I learnt much that wisdom in the bible is comparable to a woman. That you need to love, understands, embrace her just like loving, understanding and embracing a woman! Two chapters of verses in the proverbs (Book of Wisdom).

"13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; 14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand, In her left hand riches and honor. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her." [NKJV Proverbs 3:13-18]


"5 Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. 6 Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. 9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you" [NKJV Proverbs 4:5-9]

Noticing in the above verses.

Wisdom provides Happiness [3: 13&18b]!
Wisdom is Precious than anything [ 3: 14-15]!
Wisdom provides Health, Wealth and Honour [ 3: 16]!
Wisdom is Pleasantness and Peace [ 3: 17]!
Wisdom is the tree of Life [ 3:18]!

I loved Chapter 4 description of Wisdom. In Chapter 3, it speaks of what is Wisdom and what Wisdom provides. In Chapter 4, it tells you the attitude towards Wisdom. Here, it talks about Wisdom is the principle thing and we are to get Wisdom!

Wisdom is comparable to a woman that we should LOVE, EXHALT and EMBRACE her. Just like a woman, when I love her, she will slowly open up and began to tell me more about herself! I once heard of an interesting analogy about a pastor and his wife. He said his wife always brings 'honour' to her husband. She is wise and always speaks words of Wisdom to him and when he coveys the message or ideas to people around him. He will always received feedbacks like "Pastor, that a brillant idea!" and he will goes *Deep husky voice* "Well, thank you..." Haha! He said his wife gave him all the honour! Ha! I need a wise woman too. I need wisdom! Cheers =P

Irritating! What happened to my blog! I can't upload any photos!

Good weekend, saturday was a day of celebration for my family! We have a new member! My cousin wedding. Tiring but sweet moments. It's always good to see couples getting hitch and wedd. For my cousin and my biao shao, gosh...they have been together since secondary school and behold! This lady stands 1.83m , in case you do not know what "m" stands for, metres. My biao sao is one TALL lady.

Getting hitch takes two, falling in love takes two, getting married takes two but when you're in a marriage, that's when 2 became 1.

When you're in a marriage, it is not the end of courtship but a start.

Alright, Senator Barrack Obama has won the President election and he is the first African-American President of the United States of America now. Well, I do admired him for his charisma and being a much engaging ‘speaker’ than John McCain.

A good leader depends not just how good his inspirational speeches were given or giving hope to his people but turning them into reality. He makes it happen.

Right now, it’s a time to see if this good ‘speaker’ turns to a great Leader. Let’s see how he’ll come up with good strategies to recover the economy in the States now and a better America in the future.
