Inside the small boat were several large yellow fin tuna. The banker complimented the fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them. The Fisherman replied, "Only a little while."The Banker then asked, " Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more fish?"The Fisherman then said, " With this I have more than enough to support my family's needs."The Banker then asked, " But what do you do with the rest of your time?"The fisherman said, "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, go for walks with my wife, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my friends. As you can see, I have a full and busy life."The banker scoffed, " I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing; and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat! With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats. Eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling you catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor, eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to the capital city. After that, who knows, maybe you could take on the world!"The fisherman asked," But, how long will this all take?"To which the banker replied, "I'd say about 15 to 20 years.""But what then?" asked the fisherman. The banker laughed and said," That's the best part! When the time is right, you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions.""Millions?... Then what?" the fisherman continued prodding. The banker said, " Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, go for romantic walks with your wife, and in the evenings you could sip wine, play guitar and sing songs with your friends!"To which the fisherman mused, "Now isn't that strange... Isn't that what I'm doing now?"Have we been toiling hard for what we already have?

Living in where we are now and the era we are in has perhaps set a certain trend or standard that we think we ought to follow. We thought this might be the right way?
So, what is right? Everyone has different views on what is right. You and I maybe different or if not, the same. What makes me think that I'm right and he is wrong? He has his own view and I have mine so who is right? All views are affected slightly or if not more due to many reasons. Lifestyle, Fashion, Places, Food, Peer pressure, Environment, certain Circumstances or even Situation we met had cause us consciously or not, to follow what we think maybe right.
The very first man falls because of pride. They saw the apple was good. Pleasing to the eyes. " Just an apple..come on" They follow what they think maybe right. Forgetting what their dear Lord had said, the actual right way. Here's where we begin. The Fall of Man and sin reaching into the world.
Haven't we learnt the lesson? Should we follow what we think maybe right, it wouldn't be more right'er than what our dear Lord think.
Then there are others who first implement what they think is right then put God's name in it. Shouldn't it be the other way round? Why don't we place ourselves in humility and listen to what others are going to say instead of giving our very own views or even opinions. We all learn. Sometimes, giving our very own opinion(s) may not be the right alternative. God gave us two ears, one mouth. Listen attentively and speak wisely.
Learn as time goes by to listen more and giving less comments or advices. It makes the other party feels that you're understandable and in return, we'll understand the other party more. Listen first. Listen to the whole story. Listen to the cries. Listen to all and then speaks wisely, with love.
