Blessed
Had a real good week. Had a good rest too. I went for four days youth camp and I ought to give thanks for it. Though I sprained my knee - still pain and strain now, I had a good time through out. I give thanks for my disciples and cell members. You know, it was quite tiring and tedious to take up 'shepherding'. It was never easy in the first place. It is the fruit produced thereafter that gave me much joy and satisfaction in serving. Knowing that it is Him I am serving and not people alone.
I gave thanks to the Lord for Wenhao who was the camp commandant for this youth camp. Seeing him taking up this 'fierce' role and leading the camp through out is worth praising God. I believe he has grown more firm in his speech and people management. I believe more that he has grown in the Lord. Work towards the vision the Lord has given you, younger brother!
I gave thanks to the Lord for Senhui too, who took up the backstage role of being one of the designer designing the Camp tee. It is always him, one who likes many of the supporting role, do it well, good and more importantly faithfully. It was great being able to talk with him during the camp and get updated. I hope he is well reminded! It is an honor to be able to wear my disciple's designed tee.
I gave thanks to the Lord for Samuel, Sean and Diancong who each took up - ok, you're volunteered - the roles of leaders in the camp . Trust me, I speaking the truth, I only got to realise that all three of them are leaders during the camp fire. Anyway, I gave thanks that they learned to lead, be able to enjoy and most importantly, went up front during the camp fire sharing to share thanksgiving! All three of them!
I gave thanks to the Lord for my family too. I had really a good time last Saturday going Kota Tinggi to visit my grandaunt. She was so old but I love her loads! When my family and I visited her last Saturday. Tears can be seen in her eyes when she saw us. We talked alot about the many past we had. I wanted to give her a surprise by showing her Esther's picture but facebook has gone ahead of me! She was like, "Oh...I saw your girlfriend in the computer..." Haha! My cousin showed it to her! We ate the unique black sauce "fried fu juan" (instead of cha siew) noodles and the one & only Cendol( 3 bowls). The best thing about cendol is fresh coconut milk, brown sugar - won't be sticky around your mouth after eating- and the fresh green bean jelly like thing. Come on, when I last ate, it was the father who sold it to me and now the son take over. How time flies! I have been travelling with my family to kota tinggi since young! I gave thanks to the Lord for all the quality time spent with my grandaunt and family!

The Chronicle of Narnia : Jesus and His followers
Just had a week of good break. Took a week leave and today is my last day. Time flies. I got to ask myself how well have I spent my 24hrs x 7 days. Well, I think I spent it good. With 4 days in Church Youth Camp, 2 days of outing with my boys, 1 day with my beloved girlfriend and my family.
Watched The Chronicle of Narnia Part 1 and 2 movies just now and I enjoyed it. There were 5 main characters. Aslan the Lion king of Narnia, Peter the older brother, Susan the older sister, Edward the younger brother and Lucy the youngest sister. As I was watching the movie, it seems to me that there was Christian values in it. Aslan represents Jesus, out of Love for us, ended being the sacrifice for us but was resurrected thereafter, conquering death. Peter has the character of Apostle Peter who was rash at times. Susan has the character of Martha. Lucy has the character of Mary. I was deeply touched by the scene especially when Susan and Lucy was staying by the side of Aslan. All Lucy wants was to stay by the side of Aslan. Isn't it the same as Mary staying by the side of Jesus? When Lucy saw Alsan, she was running towards him. If I were to write all, I think I might as well write the review. Anyway, it was a good movie though I watch it like couple of years later after they screen it. Very deep Christian values and my mind couldn't stop thinking about it and praising God.
